The Business Expo 2025 emerged as one of the most immersive and visually captivating events on campus, attracting over 25,000 students. This year’s edition seamlessly blended tradition with innovation, offering participants a unique combination of cultural heritage and forward-thinking business insights. The event featured an engaging ambiance with marigold garlands, bird origami installations, and themed zones, creating a dynamic and photogenic environment.

Key Highlights:
1. Panchayat Island
Panchayat Island paid tribute to traditional craftsmanship and community-driven businesses, offering attendees a hands-on experience of India’s rich artisanal legacy. The space featured live pottery demonstrations, intricate mehendi art, and tarot card readings. Visitors could witness a working charkha (spinning wheel) and relax on a charpai (woven cot), while the rustic ambiance was enhanced by beautiful marigold flower strings. Engaging activities like cycle rides, rat board challenges, and skipping rope added a nostalgic touch, making it a truly immersive experience.

2. Futuristic Island
Futuristic Island provided students with insights into technology and professional development. Virtual Reality (VR) business simulations engaged over 700 students in AI-driven decision-making scenarios, while more than 1,800 students participated in PlayStation 4 gaming and foosball tournaments. Resume reviews were a major highlight, with over 300 students receiving personalized career feedback.

3. Industry Showcase
Prominent brands showcased innovations in sustainability, entrepreneurship, and mobility. Akshayakalpa and Swakruta NGO highlighted sustainable and community-driven business models, while Ampere Electric and Aprilia Motorbikes set up dedicated display areas for product trials. Milano Ice Cream and Townbus added a touch of indulgence, making the expo both insightful and enjoyable.

4. EDEC Arena
The EDEC Arena, positioned between the industry stalls at Garden Street, featured gaming and an interactive foosball table, keeping engagement levels high. Decorations with shades of black and orange across the roof, along with a set of speakers, set the mood of the event. The visual elements, including hand-painted city landscapes on life-sized blocks of ‘EDEC’, money bag ornamentation, and signature origami birds, reinforced the theme of growth and ambition.
5. Marketing & Engagement
Several interactive stalls provided students with engaging business-related activities. Jenga and Ikigai Concept Jenga challenged participants’ strategic thinking, while Spin Your Luck and Lock Your Wishes drew over 2,000 participants into predictive business modeling. The dart board challenge, fencing setup from Falahari, and the Height Jump Game added an element of competition. Additionally, "Project Kubera" focused on financial literacy and empowerment, further enhancing the learning experience.
